Along the way you'll find many attractions such as Skellig Michael (an ancient Irish monastery perched on a cliff in the Atlantic Ocean) or Bog Village. Here you can easily make a small detour to one of the local seafood restaurants to sample their specialities. The views along the Ring of Kerry are said to be something special to experience.

For the history buff, the Rock of Cashel is a popular destination. Cashel is an intact ruin of an ancient castle located south-west of Dublin.
