Trips to Alpbach

On a sunny plateau in the Alpbachtal valley lies the charming village of Alpbach. This prestigious accolade from "The Good Skiing and Snowboarding Guide" named Alpbach the "Best Small Ski Resort" in Europe that year. Small but spectacular.

Alpbach epitomizes Austrian charm. Once you've visited, you'll never want to go elsewhere! It's a beautiful Tyrolean village that feels like stepping into a postcard. The village center boasts inviting restaurants, some shops, and of course, a church in the middle.

In winter, Alpbach offers powdery snow on 45 km of pure skiing and snowboarding pleasure. The untouched snow-covered landscape is perfect for lovely hikes. Over 20 km of well-groomed cross-country trails often run through a romantic setting. Enjoy ice skating, tobogganing, paragliding, or a delightful swim at the village's adventure pool. The après-ski is truly lively and festive.

The skiing terrain is varied, with predominantly red runs and extensive off-piste areas for adventurous skiers.

Be sure to visit one of the cozy mountain huts, like Böglalm in Inneralpbach, where you can savor grilled chicken and a cold beer on the sunlit terrace. The nightlife is relaxed, but there are plenty of excellent restaurants and bars to enjoy.

The lifts also depart from the neighboring villages of Inneralpbach (1050 meters above sea level) and Reith im Alpbachtal (670 meters above sea level). A ski bus operates from the village centers and neighboring villages.
