Podere Luigi Einaudi

The estate is named after Luigi Einaudi, the first President of the Italian Republic, who once lived here. It was he who began wine-making on the estate. Today it is one of the most highly regarded producers of DOC wines. There is a large cantina here and the estate produces about 160,00-180,000 bottles a year. Be sure to attend a wine tasting (charge applies) and buy some excellent wines to take home with you. The building has a lounge, tasting room, breakfast room, beautiful garden and a lovely pool area. Dogliani is considered one of the most important locations in the Langhe area in terms of wine-making. There are tennis courts about 3 km away, and the nearest golf course (9 holes) is 6 km away.
