In the surrounding hills and mountains there are numerous excursion possibilities, such as the path to the Begna waterfalls, near Porlezza. Italy's second oldest golf course is 8.5 km away, while ferries and speedboats to Lake Como depart from Menaggio (about 12.5 km). The city of Lugano, on the shores of the lake of the same name, is also within quick reach (16 km). The beach in 200 m has a paid and a free part. ILO103 and ILO104 are in the same complex.
