The Clarion Collection Hotel Fregatten is an individual hotel with a light Nordic design. 200 metres from the sea and 400 metres from the square. You will be staying in the old artisan district close to the beach promenade. The old cold store has being given an individual interior, reminiscent of the city's proud maritime and spa traditions. The hotel occupies a great location by the harbour, near the ferry terminal and the centre. Fladen boats and Stena Line dock in the harbour. Stena Line has daily crossings to Grenaa in Denmark and Fladen boats organise deep-sea fishing trips in the Kattegat. Varberg has a large selection of charming restaurants, cafés and pubs. There is also a good range of other activities, such as tennis, swimming, spa and fitness facilities, concerts and a museum.
