Welcome to a unique resort specially designed for downhill skiing. Avoriaz and Chatel are part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, which links 14 ski resorts with 650 km of piste in two countries.

The skiing in the area is endless and there are hardly words to describe the nature experience you are in the middle of. The slopes here have views of Mont Blanc, the Dent du Midi and Lake Geneva, great conditions for a successful ski holiday.

At an impressive 1,800 metres above sea level, Avoriaz has all the amenities of a big city but the cosiness of a small village. In the village, cars have been replaced by horses and sleighs and the slopes are only a few steps away from the accommodation. The entertainment in Avoriaz can offer something for everyone, from friends who want to party to families looking for a quieter holiday.

When it comes to skiing, Avoriaz is heaven - the only limit is your imagination. Off-piste skiing is relatively easy to access and in recent years a lot of effort has been put into various terrain parks, which attract snowboarders from all over the world.

Avoriaz itself has 70 km of piste and 36 lifts. 6 pistes are black, 15 red and 24 blue.
