Trips to Mali Losinj

The island of Losinj is a tranquil, family-friendly, and relaxed destination. It is located just south of the Istrian peninsula and is delightfully green and fragrant. Losinj is connected to the elongated neighboring island of Cres by a small drawbridge in the town of Osor. In Osor, classical concerts and high-level theater performances are held during the summer.

On Losinj, you can swim from built-up bathing terraces or coves with large rocks. The island features a small town, Mali Losinj, and several smaller villages. Perhaps the most charming of all is Veli Losinj, situated just a short distance from Apartments Punta. Veli Losinj is a tiny but incredibly picturesque fishing village with a small marina that stretches far into the village. Here, you'll find several waterfront restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, and a fish market. A few kilometers away, in Mali Losinj, there is a larger selection of restaurants and shopping. The larger harbor is often visited by beautiful large sailboats. The surrounding archipelago offers wonderful boat trips, such as the one to the sandy island of Susak.
