Trips to Rab

The island has a population of about 10,000 people. However, don't be deceived by its tranquil appearance. There's a wide variety of activities and excursion opportunities available. It's up to you to decide how active you want to be. Rab Island is one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic Sea, located as close as 2 km from the mainland. The island's climate is ideal for sun worshippers, with statistics showing an average of 12 hours of sunshine per day in July and only nine cloudy days throughout the summer.

Surrounding Rab are a number of smaller islands that have become popular excursion destinations. Ferries connect Rab Island with mainland ports as well as nearby islands.

The main town, Rab, is small but very picturesque and charming, dominated by four different church towers, a medieval town center, and an almost intact city wall. The main square, in the heart of town, is paved with white stone. It features two beautiful statues of Kalifront and Draga, the central figures in a local legend of unrequited love. Today, Rab is a romantic and cozy place, perfect for a relaxing holiday with the scents of pine and a magnificent blue sea. The town has plenty of local restaurants and a few pubs, while the evening life is generally relaxed.
